The MANTES 16A 2P+E electrical socket is a practical connector designed for making safe power connections in single-phase installations . It's perfect for building or repairing extension cords, power cords, and installations in campers, caravans, garages, workshops, gardens, and campsites.
The 2P+Z model allows for the connection of a live, neutral, and protective earth conductor, making it suitable for 230V installations requiring grounding. The socket is rated for 16A , and the blue housing with a gray cable nut ensures convenient installation of cables with a diameter of 8 to 16 mm . A protective flap protects the contacts when the socket is not in use, preventing dust, dirt, and moisture from entering.
The IP44 rating provides protection against foreign bodies and water splashes from all directions . This allows the socket to be used in areas exposed to moisture, rain, dirt, and typical outdoor conditions. However, it is not intended for immersion in water or operation in areas subject to constant flooding.
