The AL-KO sliding sleeve, intended for overrun devices type 161S/VB and 251S/VB/G, has an external bearing diameter of 55 mm and an internal bearing diameter of 45.3 mm.
The bushings in the overrun brake act as intermediary elements between the moving parts of the mechanism, their main task is to reduce friction, which allows for smoother and more controlled operation of the brake. Thanks to the use of sliding sleeves, the mechanism components are better protected against wear, which extends their service life and efficiency.
Sliding bushings are used in various types of trailers, including caravans, cargo trailers, specialized trailers and other vehicles using overrun braking systems.
