The YATO YT-2828 1000 V insulated screwdriver set is designed for work on electrical installations and devices. The screwdrivers are VDE insulated up to 1000 V AC , and the set has been tested in a laboratory accredited by the German VDE institute and meets the requirements of the EN 60900 standard .
The bits are made of durable S2 steel with a hardness of 56–60 HRC . The set includes three types of screwdrivers – flat, Phillips (PH), and Pozidriv (PZ) – in several sizes, making the set suitable for a variety of installation and service tasks.
The screwdrivers are equipped with multi-component, VDE-insulated handles . Special mini-protrusions on the fingers and notches on the handles enhance grip during use. The insulation also limits direct contact between the metal part of the tool and the workpiece.
