The YLY-Sp 2x1.5 mm² electrical cable is a flat, two-core automotive cable with a cross-section of each core of 1.5 mm², intended for use in low-voltage installations with a maximum operating voltage of 24 V. The cable can be used, among others, in lighting and signaling systems, as well as in the electrical installation of towbars.
YLY-Sp automotive cables are made of multi-strand copper wire strands (L) , which provide good flexibility and efficient electrical conduction. The strands are covered with PVC insulation (Y) , and the entire cable is protected by an outer PVC sheath (Y) . The flat design (p) facilitates cable routing in low-voltage automotive systems (S), designed for use in moderate climates. The cables are not subject to the Low Voltage Directive.
The product is highly resistant to weather conditions , allowing it to be used in a wide temperature range – from -30°C to 70°C . The maximum permissible core temperature during operation should not exceed 70°C, while the ambient temperature during storage should not exceed 40°C, and during sunlight exposure, 60°C. Thanks to these parameters, YLY-Sp cables meet the requirements even in harsh operating conditions.
