3M Scotchlite Diamond Grade 983 yellow reflective tape, 55 mm wide, is designed for contour marking of heavy vehicles with rigid structural elements , such as semi-trailers, buses, trucks, emergency vehicles, and tankers. It provides excellent visibility day and night, significantly increasing road safety and facilitating vehicle identification in challenging conditions.

The foil is made of Type 3 microprismatic reflective foil, which guarantees significantly higher reflectivity than traditional foils. A strong, pressure-activated adhesive allows for permanent and secure adhesion to surfaces without the need for additional preparations. The PVC-free construction and solvent-free gluing make the product more environmentally friendly.

The tape is resistant to mild acids, alkalis, salts, water, and fuels, and its mechanical strength, confirmed by the ISO 6272 standard, guarantees durability in demanding conditions. It can be washed repeatedly with hot water or steam at pressures up to 80 bar and temperatures up to 60°C. The product is approved in accordance with ECE Regulation 104 as a retroreflective marking for vehicles of categories M, N, and O , and its optimal performance is achieved over a wide temperature range from -34°C to +94°C .
