The KNOTT 4803889X ball hitch lock insert is designed for KNOTT K14, KQ14, KK14, and K7.5 tow heads, often used in trailers, caravans, and flatbed trailers. Installation is tool-free: the insert is inserted into the hitch body and locked with a key, taking literally seconds.
The insert acts as an anti-theft device : it locks the hitch lever , preventing unauthorized opening. The compact design acts as a mechanical lock and deterrent, reducing the risk of unauthorized uncoupling of the trailer while parked. It is also recommended as additional protection against accidental uncoupling during use.
