This is a spare pneumatic tire designed for trailer jockey wheels . The sheet metal rim and ball bearing construction are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, and the pneumatic tire absorbs bumps well, making it easy to roll the trailer smoothly around the driveway, yard, or workshop.
A jockey wheel is used to support the drawbar and manually maneuver the trailer outside the vehicle: when coupling, uncoupling, positioning the trailer at a standstill, or maneuvering in confined spaces. A pneumatic wheel is worth considering when you need better vibration damping and easier rolling on uneven surfaces (cobblestones, gravel).
The spare tire is supplied empty of air – please inflate to the recommended pressure before use.
