The ball hitch, also called a coupling, allows you to connect the vehicle to the trailer. The AL-KO hitch in the AK161 model is one of the safest in its class thanks to its triple coupling protection. The hitch lever is covered with plastic, and the set also includes a rubber cover, the so-called soft-dock.
The model manufactured by AL-KO is intended for trailers with brakes with a maximum total weight of up to 1,600 kg. It is equipped with a wear indicator, which allows you to check the condition of the ball hitch and the car's towbar. The maximum vertical pressure on the hook ball in this case is 120 kg. The hitch will fit a pipe with a diameter of 50 mm. It is attached with two horizontal screws and one vertical screw.
